 作為Windows 7的服務(wù)器版本，Windows Server 2008 R2的關(guān)注度遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不如個(gè)人客戶端版的Windows 7。但是考慮到Windows Server 2008的性能要高于Vista，對(duì)Windows Server 2008 R2的測(cè)試也就顯得有必要了。

其實(shí)對(duì)于處于開(kāi)發(fā)階段的系統(tǒng)而言，微軟是禁止第三方進(jìn)行測(cè)試的，但好在目前Windows 7和Windows Server 2008 R2都已經(jīng)完成RTM，Principled Technologies日前就將其與Windows Server 2008放在了一起，進(jìn)行了對(duì)比測(cè)試。

Principled Technologies分別在兩臺(tái)Harpertown and和Nehalem服務(wù)器上測(cè)試了Windows Server的多個(gè)版本，同時(shí)，著重測(cè)試了多任務(wù)負(fù)載下的虛擬。結(jié)果顯示，Windows Server 2008 R2的平均性能要高出37%左右。

測(cè)試主要用于找出Windows Server 2008 R2在Intel Xeon E5450和X5570上Hyper-V的性能改進(jìn)。結(jié)果完全沒(méi)有讓人失望。
