 微軟已經(jīng)確認(rèn)下一代操作系統(tǒng)的里程碑版本已經(jīng)完成，而事實(shí)上，觀察家指出Windows 7 Beta 1已經(jīng)在2008年12月完成開發(fā)任務(wù)。而最近，Windows 7 Beta 1 Build 6.1.7000.0.081212-1400已經(jīng)分發(fā)給了部分測(cè)試者。從這一點(diǎn)看來(lái)，2009年初的Windows 7 公開測(cè)試版也將會(huì)是這個(gè)版本。

或多或少帶點(diǎn)官方消息的味道在里面，微軟承認(rèn)將會(huì)在2009年1月發(fā)布Windows 7 Beta。同時(shí)，雷德蒙軟件巨頭也保證2009 MSDN開發(fā)者大會(huì)的與會(huì)者都將在會(huì)后獲得Windows 7 Beta一份，而DVD光盤將會(huì)在2009年1月13日前準(zhǔn)備完畢。

根據(jù)傳統(tǒng)，微軟一般都會(huì)在國(guó)際消費(fèi)電子展上有所作為，而按計(jì)劃2009年這一盛會(huì)將與1月8日-1月11日在拉斯維加斯舉行。在CES 2009上，微軟希望能夠?qū)⒛抗舛ǜ裨?a class="s_tag" target="_blank" href="http://afsion.com.cn">Windows 7上。很有可能Windows 7 Beta就會(huì)在此次大會(huì)上公布。

從6.1.7000.0.081212-1400這個(gè)開發(fā)代號(hào)可以看出，這個(gè)版本實(shí)際上是在12月12日完成的，6.1將是Windows 7的主版本號(hào)。微軟已經(jīng)解釋了之所以這樣定是為了保證Vista和Windows 7的兼容性。

Windows 7 Build 6956是Windows 7的最新泄露版本，而其實(shí)這個(gè)版本還處于Pre-beta階段。但當(dāng)版本號(hào)轉(zhuǎn)到7000，這就說(shuō)明Windows 7已經(jīng)是全功能版的了，中間的0代表小版本號(hào)，而081212-1400則表明了這個(gè)版本是在12月12日下午2點(diǎn)完成的。

Microsoft has yet to confirm that it has wrapped up the upcoming development milestone for the next iteration of the Windows client internally, but speculations are pointing out that Windows 7 Beta 1 has been finalized as early as December 12, 2008. In this context, Windows 7 Beta 1 Build 6.1.7000.0.081212-1400 is reportedly headed for a select pool of testers by the end of 2009. At this point in time Microsoft continues to stick to the same refrain when it comes down to the availability of the next development milestone of Win7 past M3, namely that Windows 7 public Beta is still planned for launch in early 2009.

At the same time, the Redmond giant is luring participants to the MSDN Developer Conferences in 2009 with a promise that attendees will receive a copy of Windows 7 Beta 1, which will be delivered to them after the events. Microsoft Evangelist Keith Combs revealed that the first Windows 7 Beta 1 DVDs would be ready for shipping as early as January 13, 2009.

Following tradition, Microsoft will have a strong presence at the international Consumer Electronics Show in January, which is scheduled to take place between January 8 and January 11, 2009, in Las Vegas. At CES 2009 the Redmond company's focus is expected to be Windows 7, and with the proximity of the Beta 1 release, the event could have something to offer to those expecting the next development milestone of Windows Vista's successor.
