 全功能版的Windows 7 Beta最早將會(huì)在2009年1月5日提供下載。

微軟已經(jīng)明確指出Windows 7 Beta將會(huì)是Windows 7的最后一個(gè)測(cè)試階段的版本，但軟件巨頭并沒有給Windows 7的發(fā)布時(shí)間定下一個(gè)最后期限。但好在微軟官方剛剛宣布，Windows 7 Beta下載將會(huì)在2009年1月發(fā)布的季度更新工具中提供，而這一工具將會(huì)在2009年1月5日通過(guò)MAPS發(fā)放。

“我們將會(huì)從2009年1月5日起按地區(qū)發(fā)放，同時(shí)將會(huì)在后續(xù)的1月，4月，7月和10月繼續(xù)。用戶將會(huì)在15-30個(gè)工作日內(nèi)收到更新，如果在發(fā)放日期結(jié)束前還沒收到，請(qǐng)與當(dāng)?shù)氐姆��?wù)中心聯(lián)系。”

微軟即將在明年1月發(fā)布的季度更新包將包括：Windows 7 Beta, Microsoft Virtual PC 2007, Windows Small Business Server 2008 Standard Edition, Windows Essential Business Server 2008 Standard Edition, Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008, Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 SP1, 和Microsoft System Center Essentials 2007 SP1。

The fully-fledged Beta for Windows 7 could be made available for download as soon as January 5, 2009.

Microsoft certainly confirmed that it was in the final stages of cooking the Beta build of Windows 7, but it has not managed, so far, to point to an actual deadline for the delivery of the platform's next development milestone. However, Microsoft is now offering official confirmation that Windows 7 Beta downloads will be offered via the January 2009 Quarterly Update Kit through the Microsoft Action Pack Subscription (MAPS), which will start being distributed on January 5.

“Shipping starts January 5, 2009, depending on region, and continues with the first month of each subsequent quarter (January, April, July, and October). Allow 15 to 30 business days to receive your kit. If you don’t receive it by the end of the shipping month, contact your nearest Regional Service Center,” Microsoft revealed.
