 日前，微軟官方已經(jīng)發(fā)布了Windows 7 Beta，并保證Vista SP1用戶可以順利升級(jí)到Windows 7 Beta，那么XP用戶呢？微軟并未為XP用戶提供任何升級(jí)計(jì)劃。

一位微軟發(fā)言人稱在Windows 7正式版發(fā)布之前不會(huì)決定哪些會(huì)包括在正式版中，哪些不會(huì)包括在內(nèi)，微軟建議在Beta階段，還是安裝到干凈分區(qū)中比較好。

考慮到XP與Vista和Windows 7在內(nèi)核上的不同，提供XP到Windows 7的升級(jí)并非明智之舉。其實(shí)，就算是Windows 7 正式版，最好的方法也還是全新安裝，即使微軟提供了XP/Vista→Windows 7的升級(jí)。

The version of Windows 7 Beta 1 that Microsoft (NSDQ:MSFT) made available for download on its Technet site Thursday does not support upgrades from systems running its Windows XP operating system!

It does, however, permit upgrades from Vista SP1 to Windows 7.

A Microsoft spokesman said that no final decisions have yet been made about what will be included or not included in the generally available version of Windows 7, but that the company as a practice advises only clean installations of operating systems during the beta phase anyway.
