 很多Windows 7用戶大概都遇到過(guò)這樣的情況：當(dāng)通過(guò)自動(dòng)更新或者使用msi安裝包安裝程序時(shí)，資源管理器和msiexec.exe莫名其妙就崩潰了。這確實(shí)是個(gè)不小的問(wèn)題，很多人都不得不因此格盤了重裝了，不過(guò)依然沒有解決。

通過(guò)探索發(fā)現(xiàn)，問(wèn)題來(lái)自于Customer Experience Improvement Program（用戶體驗(yàn)改善計(jì)劃）中的一個(gè)名為SQM客戶端的組件。找到了源頭自然就有解決方法了。

1.刪除HKLM\Software\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions下的所有鍵值（String Value，Default除外）
2.運(yùn)行g(shù)pedit.msc
3.定位到Computer Configuration-Administrative Templates-System-Internet Communication Management-Internet Communication settings
4.在右邊的詳細(xì)信息面板中雙擊關(guān)閉Windows Customer Experience Improvement Program，然后點(diǎn)擊啟用

不過(guò)，這只是通過(guò)關(guān)閉Windows Customer Experience Improvement Program來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)的暫時(shí)性措施，在微軟發(fā)布補(bǔ)丁前，誰(shuí)也無(wú)法保證問(wèn)題不會(huì)再次出現(xiàn)。

Many users have started experiencing random crashing of explorer and msiexec.exe when trying to start Windows Update or install anything that uses an MSI based installer.  This issue is bad enough that some people have even formatted because of it, only to have it come back again.

Rafael has discovered that the fault lies with the SQM Client which is part of the Customer Experience Improvement Program.  It seems that ANY process that calls WinSqmStartSession in ntdll.dll will start crashing when MachineThrottling is enabled in the registry, which seems to happen as a result of CEIP running.
