 Windows 7Beta和Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta的發(fā)布也有了一段時(shí)間了,最近幾天，越來(lái)越多的bug被大家找了出來(lái)，下面這個(gè)bug就是Windows 7 Beta在處理DNS時(shí)的一個(gè)問題，測(cè)試者發(fā)現(xiàn)當(dāng)用戶通過Windows 7 Beta或Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta加入15個(gè)字節(jié)以上主機(jī)名的DNS主機(jī)時(shí)，系統(tǒng)會(huì)返回錯(cuò)誤信息“The attempt to join this computer to the << domain_name >>.com domain failed. The parameter is incorrect.”（無(wú)法加入到XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.com，參數(shù)錯(cuò)誤）

而微軟也確認(rèn)了這一Bug并強(qiáng)調(diào)此Bug只有在遇到15位以上主機(jī)名時(shí)才會(huì)出現(xiàn)，而15位及15以下都不會(huì)有任何問題。這里的15位指的是.com這個(gè)“.”之前的字節(jié)數(shù)。比如Northwindtraders.com，這樣的域名就會(huì)返回錯(cuò)誤信息，而像bbs.ithome.com這樣的就不會(huì)。

目前，微軟提供了一個(gè)有關(guān)此問題的緊急補(bǔ)丁  ，不過并未明確表示何時(shí)發(fā)布更新以永久解決此問題。

Following the availability of Windows 7 client Beta and Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta, Microsoft revealed that neither of the next versions of its Windows operating systems were able to join domains with names exceeding 15 characters in length. Any attempt to join Windows 7 client Beta or Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta machines to a Domain Name System (DNS) with a 15+ character domain name would result in an error message, the company informed - “The attempt to join this computer to the << domain_name >>.com domain failed. The parameter is incorrect.”

Microsoft revealed that this scenario would take place if “[users] try to join a Windows 7-based or a Windows Server 2008 R2-based computer to an existing domain by using the System Properties user interface, the Netdom.exe command, an unattended setup, the Djoin.exe command, or another mechanism. [And if users] try to use the Active Directory Installation Wizard (Dcpromo.exe) to install Active Directory Domain Services on a member server.”
