 由于UAC的存在，微軟在Vista中引入了權(quán)限功能組件Elevation PowerToys，而現(xiàn)在這一功能也被集成到了Windows 7 Beta中。但是，使用中發(fā)現(xiàn)，此組件在Windows 7中并不能正常工作。為此，Michael Murgolo，此工具的開(kāi)發(fā)者對(duì)其作出了一些改進(jìn)。

此bug于去年12月發(fā)現(xiàn)，而一直以來(lái)Michael Murgolo都在致力于尋找解決問(wèn)題的方法，而如今，這一bug已經(jīng)修復(fù)，可以在Windows 7下正常使用。

最初在Vista下，Elevation PowerToys主要用來(lái)為用戶提供UAC下的簡(jiǎn)易操作界面，可提供一下選項(xiàng)：以管理員身份運(yùn)行、以管理員身份運(yùn)行第三方腳本工具等。雖然在Windows 7中，微軟已經(jīng)對(duì)UAC作出了改進(jìn)，但有時(shí)候，有這樣一款工具還是有備無(wú)患的。
