 此前，曾有傳言稱，微軟將不會(huì)提供XP→Windows 7的升級(jí)，來(lái)自商業(yè)周刊的消息稱微軟可能會(huì)發(fā)售一款價(jià)格相對(duì)便宜的升級(jí)版本。下面是微軟的官方陳述：

微軟將會(huì)盡力使所有用戶都能輕松升級(jí)至WIndows 7。通過(guò)升級(jí)工具、向?qū)б约昂献鲝S商的努力，我們相信這將會(huì)是一次愉快的過(guò)程。另外，對(duì)于XP用戶，如果想要體驗(yàn)WIndows 7的話，我們建議購(gòu)買新電腦。因?yàn)閄P用戶只能通過(guò)全新安裝的方式升級(jí)到Windows 7。
