 Windows 7 Beta的測試并未達到預期效果。在過去的這么多天里，Windows 7 Beta的測試者們遭遇了這樣的事實。

Windows 7的測試和發(fā)布計劃跟Office基本是同步的。但不同的是，據部分測試者稱，微軟Windows 7團隊到目前為止并未告訴測試用戶WIndows 7的開發(fā)進度，就連最核心的測試小組也沒有收到微軟的任何答復。

幾個月前我們就已經知道Windows 7只會有1個Beta和一個RC版本，隨后就直接RTM了。但從最近的消息來看Windows 7的內部版本已經進入RC階段了。而問題在于，測試者們并不知道他們的建議和反饋是否被采納了。

那么測試者們到底想要些什么呢？他們想要微軟多花些時間來測試Windows 7？他們想要微軟給他們提供更多內部版本？他們想要微軟發(fā)布一份Bug修復列表？

我覺得比起另一個Beta或RC版本，他們更想要的是微軟Windows 7團隊關于他們提交的建議和反饋的回應。有測試者稱他們已經向微軟提交了有關界面設計等方面的一些建議，但微軟并未給予他們任何回復。

另一個例子在于，有關Windows 7 64位版本下切換64位Windows Media Player的設置在Build 7000和7022中并未生效。而此前有測試者向微軟反映過此問題且微軟稱這一bug已經修復。

小編：軟件測試是一個交互的過程，軟件開發(fā)人員和、測試者、用戶需要交流，否則測試也失去了本該有的意義。

Windows 7’s testing and release schedule is like that for Office. (Given that Windows Engineering chief Steven Sinofsky ran the Office development team for years before moving over to Windows, is anyone really surprised?) Sinofsky and his team are holding their cards a lot closer to the vest and are releasing very few public testing milestones.

But beyond failing to inform public beta testers of what’s going on, the Windows 7 team also is remiss in providing even the core group of “technical beta testers” with adequate feedback, some of these testers claim.
