 大約在一年前，微軟Windows Vista團(tuán)隊(duì)在其位于雷德蒙的總部接受了多家媒體的采訪。當(dāng)時(shí)的Vista并未像微軟預(yù)料的那樣獲得巨大成功，很多企業(yè)都決定跳過(guò)其直接升級(jí)到Windows 7。

采訪中很多問(wèn)題都集中在為何微軟開(kāi)發(fā)5年之久的系統(tǒng)還會(huì)存在如此多的問(wèn)題以及為何在修復(fù)已存在的bug前就打算讓企業(yè)部署Vista。當(dāng)時(shí)，微軟并沒(méi)有對(duì)此事作出任何回答。

現(xiàn)在輪到Windows 7，微軟似乎已經(jīng)在吸取Vista的前車之鑒了。微軟副主席Mike Nash稱“我知道我們還需要繼續(xù)努力，但我們一直想進(jìn)步。”

企業(yè)用戶之所以不歡迎Vista一是由于其較高的硬件需求使得企業(yè)不得不花費(fèi)大筆的資金用戶硬件升級(jí)，二是因?yàn)槲④浀能浖�合作伙伴并沒(méi)有為Vista的發(fā)布做好準(zhǔn)備，導(dǎo)致了大量第三方軟件的兼容性問(wèn)題。

而在WIndows 7的開(kāi)發(fā)過(guò)程中，微軟早早就向合作伙伴公布了Windows 7的特性以給予他們足夠的時(shí)間了解新系統(tǒng)的功能。此外，微軟而做了大量的測(cè)試和改進(jìn)以確保Windows 7不會(huì)在兼容性問(wèn)題上出紕漏。

而有關(guān)硬件需求方面，微軟宣稱Windows 7的硬件配置要求比Vista要低，而事實(shí)證明，即使是幾年前的老爺機(jī)也可以流暢運(yùn)行這款新系統(tǒng)，這也就打消了企業(yè)在硬件升級(jí)方面的顧慮。

Mike Nash還稱：“我們希望用戶可以將Windows 7 Beta當(dāng)做Windows 7 RC來(lái)對(duì)待，將Windows 7 RC當(dāng)做Windows 7 RTM來(lái)對(duì)待。”
