 基于Windows NT的系統(tǒng)都可以通過EFS文件加密系統(tǒng)對文件夾進行加密，其中，Windows Vista是第一個引入全盤加密的系統(tǒng)，也就是我們通常所說的BitLocker。而現(xiàn)在，在Windows 7中，微軟新增了可移動設備的設備功能，比如，USB設備、閃存設備和其他媒體設備等。新功能成為BitLocker To Go。

BitLocker的歷史

最初，BitLocker僅僅支持加密所有分區(qū)。在最終定名前，該功能被成為Secure Startup （安全啟動）和Full Volume Encryption（全盤加密）。當時，BitLocker只能被安裝在系統(tǒng)盤中，也很難配置，需要手動創(chuàng)建獨立分區(qū)，而且必須在系統(tǒng)安裝過程中創(chuàng)建。

后來，為了解決這些問題，微軟在Vista的Ultimate Extras中提供了BitLocker增強等更新。而在Windows 7中，該功能則更加容易安裝和配置。

在彈出的向導中進行設置

在下一步中將會詢問是否要保存key�？梢赃x擇另存為txt文件或者打印。如果選擇了保存或打印，應該會出現(xiàn)這樣的畫面：

如果對可移動磁盤進行了加密，那么插入和拔除時都需要輸入密碼。

在XP和Vista中使用BitLocker加密設備

看到上面的功能，可能很多人要問了。在Windows 7中使用BitLocker加密的可移動磁盤在XP和Vista下能不能使用？答案是肯定的。在這些系統(tǒng)中，微軟提供了閱讀功能，也就是說，這些磁盤是只讀的。輸入密碼后可以閱讀里面的文件，但是無法寫入任何文件。

BitLocker To Go可以說是相當出色的磁盤加密技術了。但由于微軟只打算在Windows 7 Enterprise和Ultimate版本中提供此功能。
