 對于Windows用戶而言，在Windows 7之前，Virtual PC 2007一直是最主要的虛擬機(jī)軟件。但Windows 7將虛擬技術(shù)帶到了一個全新的高度，甚至于內(nèi)建了XP模式。

但是此功能并沒有默認(rèn)包含在Windows 7中，微軟是將其作為一個更新來發(fā)布的。知識庫文章編號KB958559。安裝此更新后，Windows 7用戶就可以創(chuàng)建和使用虛擬機(jī)了，也就是說，可以在Windows 7內(nèi)運行XP或者Vista了。而且，還支持Aero。

安裝此更新后需要重啟。然后再安裝下面的安裝包：

The Virtual PC 2007 has been the main free virtualization software by Microsoft for Windows users, until Windows 7, which does not support the versions up to irtual PC 2007 SP1.
